Camp completed within the project The Revival of the Stone Village
The project “The Revival of the Stone Village in Gostuša” was supported by the European Commission and the Council of Europe as part of the European Heritage Stories program. The part related to the conservation volunteer camp in the village of Gostusa on Stara Planina has just been successfully implemented.

Volunteer Conservation Camp was held from 4 to 13.10. in the village of Gostusa within the project “The Revival of the Stone Village”.

In addition to workshops on old crafts, materials and construction techniques, the participants had the opportunity to learn about the natural and intangible heritage of Stara Planina.

Workshops for making bread pots and preparing traditional bread were also held, and on 12.10. In the renovated temple of St. John the Baptist in the village, there was also a conference entitled "Cultural Landscape and Sustainable Development: Between Theory and Practice".

On that day, in addition to camp participants, volunteers, coaches, media and locals, visitors from Niš joined the gathering, organized by the EU Info Corner Niš.
